ABOUT

I am a UK-based multimedia and data journalist who is always looking for new ways to tell impactful stories about issues that are often overlooked, but that affect people's daily lives. As a journalist, I want to shed light on those issues, spark conversation and help people understand the world.

As a recent journalism graduate from City, University of London with a First Class Honours degree, I have been trained in news reporting, features writing, social media, TV and radio producing and media law.

I have a keen interest in the intersection between technology and journalism, particularly in the power of telling stories through data analysis and visualisation.

I am currently undertaking Cardiff University's master's degree in Computational and Data Journalism, where I have learned where to source data and how to code using Python, R studio and MySQL for data wrangling and Javascript (D3.js), HTML and CSS for data visualisation and web development.

My work has been featured in 20/20 Europe Magazine, Stylist Magazine, the Thomson Reuters Foundation, the Belfast Telegraph, Virgin Media's Xposé and The National Student. Work experience placements include The Times, The Sunday Times, Thomson Reuters Foundation, Stylist Magazine and Press Association.

Born in Barcelona and resident in the United Kingdom since 2017, I speak proficient English, native Spanish, Catalan and  French at an Upper Intermediate level.
